Helen Coulson Obituary

September 2, 1934 - November 25, 2024 Helen Virginia Coulson (née Folger) was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Helen was born in San Pedro, CA where she met her husband, Norman. A graduate of California State University Northridge with degrees in mathematics, she spent her professional career preparing students to become teachers.

Helen and Norman, the love of her life, would have been married 70 years in January 2025. She is survived by her husband and their four children: N. Edward (Linda), Gia Bullard (Don), Mike (Barbara) and Maria; seven grandchildren: Brendan Coulson, Alex (Elaine) and Patrick Bullard, Macy Ewen (Sam), Anna Coulson, Margaret and Elizabeth Coulson and three great-grandchildren: Alice, Margaret, and Wylie.

A long-term resident of Granada Hills CA, Helen enjoyed playing bridge, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. She and Norman moved to Ventura in 2021 to be closer to family. Her greatest joy was time with loved ones and will be dearly missed by all.
